THE KING WILLIAM
STREET PROJECT

The theme for our year is: Trees, Tubes and Traffic; each set in the context of our local community and our vision for the future of the Ward. The next phase includes the exciting pedestrianisation and greening project, a core part of our Pledge to the Ward.

We have provided an overview of the Pedestrian Priority project (King William Street and the Monument junction) and our determined effort to improve foot and vehicular movements in and around the Ward. This is following our successful bid for environmental improvements to King William Street, a project which will begin later this year. On this page you can find the plans for King William Street alongside the visuals of how the street and walkways will look once the project completes.

If you are keen to support the greening of our Ward and would like further information about the flower box and planter scheme, do please contact James St John Davis.
